Color: Please note that our linen is prewashed and softened to give you a natural aged finish, and because of this, some places in our linen can be muted as a result. This look is done with intention to give you that relaxed aged style. Dye lot variations are very common when processing natural linens. Please note that if you're purchasing the same color items at different times, there may be some color variations. This can happen because the linen may be manufactured from different dye lots and the shade may vary due to natural linen qualities. While Upper East Linens tries to avoid as much variation as we can, there can be at times slight variances to all our linen colors.

Linen is one of the strongest and most resistant natural fibers and can withstand the age of time with the proper care!

Wash: We recommend washing the linen separately from other fabrics and colors. Avoid using bleach or detergents with brighteners. Avoid direct sunlight when possible. Wash with a mild detergent and not harsh powder detergents. It is best to wash your linen by hand when possible.

Dry: Our linen has been pre washed to ensure that with proper care there will be no further shrinkage. You can tumble dry safe on low heat to keep your linen soft but for best drying results, hang dry your linen!

Iron: While our linens can be ironed for a neat look, we inspire you to enjoy the natural texture

We are a small artisanal shop and appreciate your business. While many of our items are in stock throughout the year, some items are made to order as they come in. Partial orders may ship when the items are in stock and the items that need to be made will be shipped as soon as they are complete. Items that need to be made can expect an approximate ship date of 2-3 weeks after purchase. Upper East Linens strives to get your linens to your doorstep as soon as we possibly can.
